New Policy Effective January 25, 2023
Beginning on January 25, 2023, the NIH policy for Data Management and Sharing (DMS) Plans will change. The changes include increased content, changes to budget management, and requirements for open access and tracking. A significant change to note is that a DMS plan is now required for ALL submissions. Please click here to determine if your NIH submission requires a DMS Plan.
The Research Office, in partnership with the Libraries, the WV CTSI, the HSC Office of Research and Graduate Education, Eberly College of Arts and Sciences, and Statler College of Engineering and Mineral Resources, has a plan in place to assist PIs submitting to the NIH in 2023. If you plan to submit to the NIH in Q1 of 2023, please complete the Consultation Form as soon as possible.
